01 / USING THE PLATFORM

Using the platform

What can I do in the pilot?

Browse the reviewed conference directory, save a shortlist, create boards, track attendance, store booking details and notes, use a three-month calendar, set calendar reminders and download branded Excel or PDF reports. Admins can review submissions and see event engagement counts.

Can I organize events by campaign or region?

Yes. Create boards with your own names, such as a product launch, territory or audience segment, then assign saved conferences to them.

Can I track whether our team attended an event?

Yes. Saved events support statuses from interested and evaluating through registered, attending and attended. You can add a note to preserve context.

Does kknockknock have a calendar and reports?

Yes. The pilot includes a three-month view of saved events and formatted Excel and PDF reports with the kknockknock logo. Shared calendars, budget tracking and advanced reporting are planned for the full product.

How do reminders work?

Choose a lead time on a saved event, then download its calendar file and add it to your calendar for an alert. Events that are due are also highlighted when you sign in. The pilot does not send scheduled email or text reminders.

Can I store a conference booking?

Yes. Keep who booked it, the reference, attendee and ticket details, and booking notes in your personal workspace. Do not store payment card numbers.

Can I use the directory to plan an event budget?

You can shortlist events and record notes today. Dedicated budget planning, team approvals and outcome reporting are planned for the commercial product.

02 / EVENT INFORMATION

Event information

Where does the event information come from?

Published pilot listings are checked against official organizer pages. Each event includes its source link so you can confirm current details directly.

How are online, in-person and hybrid events handled?

The pilot classifies submissions using their supplied location and description, then displays the result on the listing. An admin reviews new events before they are published.

What happens to past conferences?

When an event's end date passes, it moves from the upcoming directory into the archive automatically. Saved records remain in your plan.

Can I suggest a missing event or correction?

Invited users can submit a conference through the For organizers page. For a correction, use the Contact page and include the official source.

Are all industries and countries covered?

The product is intended to cover all industries and geographies, but the current pilot directory is small and curated. Coverage will expand through sourced research and reviewed submissions.

03 / ACCOUNTS AND MEMBERSHIPS

Accounts and memberships

How do I log in?

kknockknock uses its own account login. The owner can create a one-time invitation link for each pilot user.

Are there free and premium accounts?

Free, Premium and Team memberships are planned for commercial launch. The current pilot uses invitation access and does not take payments.

Can my team share a workspace?

Personal saved events, notes and contacts work in the pilot. Shared team workspaces and permissions are planned.

Where are the prices and billing terms?

Final prices, plan limits, payment methods and billing terms have not been set. They will be published before paid enrollment opens.

04 / ORGANIZERS AND AI

Organizers and AI

Can event organizers submit a conference?

Yes. Invited users can submit event details and an official source through the organizer page. A submission enters admin review before publication.

Does AI add events automatically?

No. The owner can trigger discovery through the connected MCP tool. New findings are candidates for admin review; discovery is not scheduled to run on its own.

Can organizers pay to promote events?

Not yet. The pilot does not sell or display paid placements. Organizers can register interest in clearly labelled launch placements on the Advertise page.

Would a paid placement change editorial review?

We plan to keep the source and review process for event facts, and to mark future paid placements clearly as Advertisement. The final advertising policy will be set before sales open.

05 / DATA AND LAUNCH READINESS

Data and launch readiness

What information does the pilot store?

It stores your account, saved events, boards, notes, attendance status, booking details, reminder preferences and basic contact records. The Excel and PDF reports contain the personal information you enter, so keep downloaded copies secure. Contact messages go to the owner's admin inbox.

Is the product ready for a public paid launch?

The private pilot is working, but public enrollment, billing, final prices, legal policies and shared team controls still need to be completed and reviewed.
